MOTM v Shrewsbury

MOTM v Shrewsbury

The votes had been cast; these numbers toted up with it decided among the Vital Pompey fraternity that Jed Wallace was the man of the match against Shrewsbury last weekend.

At half time you could not pick out a 'star man' for Pompey, from back to front we were bloody awful!

Most played like players that were going out of contract, some without an apparent interest in being with Pompey anymore, which to be fair I think is not the case - to be fair, to a degree, you can understand this as without the 'luxury' of a contract could they really risk injury and being without any income at all in the future?

Well, that is another debate!

2nd half we were much better, they must have got a rollocking and Wallace was at his very best. The kid makes the game look so easy when he is on his game and showed again just why it seems unlikely we will retain him next season?

Lets just hope that the watching scouts decided to go home at half time and based their views on the 1st half, deciding that he is not mature enough to step-up yet...

Well he got my vote, though as a team we lookedquite out of sorts & at 3-0 down I wondered if we were in for a real spanking.
