Pompey predictions league update #31

Pompey predictions league update #31

The Pompey predictions league continued at the weekend when we went to Bournemouth.

We held them up to the break, then offered more in the 2nd half before eventually slipping to defeat once more - losing 2-0 to our south coast rivals.

A number went for defeat, so collected some points. 20pts were collected by leader jsander48 to extend the lead at the top of the table.

Those points saw jsander48 retain top spot for a 3rd game and further extend his lead, moving onto 175pts in total. 2nd was retained by pompeymart1968 on 140pts and with uspompeyfan still in 3rd on 140pts.

This is how the table, of over 40 at present, currently stands:

So long Smithy?

Having made it clear the arrival from Ipswich of (now captain) Pitman meant a forward could leave Fratton Park, Smith is seen as the odd one out in four for Pompey boss Jackett.

Gimme five

A seven minute hat trick wasn't bad going for Nicke Kabamba but in the end the Pompey forward ended up with FIVE in an 8-0 win over Wessex League side Newport Isle of Wight.
