Pompey predictions league update #29

Pompey predictions league update #29

The Pompey predictions league continued at the weekend with Colchester the visitors to Fratton as we played a third home game in a week.

As with the previous two Fratton games that week, and most in recent times, it was Pompey on the wrong end of the scoreline again...

Poor defending, and a little misfortune, in the 1st half left us a mountain to climb. Whilst we battled back in the 2nd half was could not turn it around and went down 3-2.

Funnily enough expectation levels were quite high, so just a small handful collected points for correctly going with a defeat.

The top 3 scored 5pts each, that meant that jsander48 retained top spot on 135pts in total ahead of pompeymart1968 in 2nd on 130pts and uspompeyfan in 3rd also on 130pts overall.

This is how the table, of over 40 at present, currently stands:

Movement of the people

There will be no exodus but as Bob Marley said there would be movement of the people, actually 'movement of Jah people', at Fratton in order for Jackett to bring players to Pompey.

So long Smithy?

Having made it clear the arrival from Ipswich of (now captain) Pitman meant a forward could leave Fratton Park, Smith is seen as the odd one out in four for Pompey boss Jackett.
