Home to P'Boro in 1994. Nearly 20,000 there as you had to have been at that match to get a ticket for the Cup game with Man Utd, a good marketing strategy.

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.

Interest in Plymouth midfielder? Unfortunately not

Apparently, having stolen the League Two title from Plymouth, we'll not be taking the Pilgrims' best player, ex-Celtic midfielder Carey, currently out-of-contract at Home Park.
