Case adjourned until 2pm Friday
Representatives of PKF, The PST and Portpin have been in and out of court this morning.
Following a break, and a return at 12.30, it is just breaking that an adjournment until 2pm on Friday has been decided.
Portpin want a change in administrator and by all accounts questions are being raised over the property developer involved in The PST bid, so this is causing various issues it would seem.
In order for discussions, and/or negotiations, to continue what is pretty much a 24-hour adjournment has been arranged to give people a chance to fully get their houses in order.
Oh for a time when we could just focus on footballing matters, it seems an age since we have been able too and the chances of doing this any time soon also seem unlikely...
eastneydave has just managed to talk to Colin Farmery - Trust Spokesman outside of the courts.
Colin said that 'Portsmouth is an extraordinarily complicated football club and fans would expect nothing else but another complication.
I share the frustration of the fans who will of course be disappointed with the lack of progress made this morning but they should not be too negative as both sides are still talking.
The Trust team and PKF now have the time given by the judge (24 hours) to digest all that has happened and come back ready after the adjournment.`
When I asked him to sum that all up he replied 'Don`t panic!`

Yawn ... The saga drags on more and more .. Whoever is culpable for this 'oversight' should be shot ... And if the it is the trust them who is gonna give them money after this ... If it is Birch then they shouldn't take payment for past few months ... Seriously think the only way out of this is to let Chanrai have his pound of flesh (again) and then pick up when he gets bored .. In the meantime the lawyers line their pockets..

I again ask the question why won't PKF and the PST publish their business plan????? A positive for the PST was if it sounds like BC was wanting to sell to the Trust and im guessing he would have done a managed funded sale for that to go through;Portpin doesnt ever get all his money ever but gets a guaranteed chunk over an agreed period. That's until it became blindingly obvious someone got something very wrong. Brendan G is on the scene and the option of having a revised sale could be on the cards I think the PST might have to do what I and others suggested which is think long game and play nicely with BC. I still think the PST will get the club but I think it needs a truly viable partner.snyway longest to go yet and it could still get resolved quickly. Not sure what this does for reputations such as "honest Colin Farmery" or Bob Beech who made himself sound a bit of a clown on 5 live this morning- we all knew one thing Bob said something different again; no surprise really. I had started to get used to the idea of some amateurs and a couple of dodgy people taking over at Pompey it always seems to be the way - I was even considering making a pledge before I saw the business plan ; I think I better think it out again. So... the PST's property magnate is erh!!! financially embarrassed at the moment? Answers on the back of a cheque please, preferably crossed and with indisputable evidence of available dosh sitting in a vault somewhere.... :-)
