Half Time Update

Portsmouth took a while to get going, as Wigan came out all guns blazing. In the second minute; a Corner from the right taken by Ryan Taylor, was headed by Caleb Folan from the centre of the penalty area and caused David James to parry the ball away.

Portsmouth eventually got going with several shots from Douala and Kanu, which didn`t cause the Wigan goalkeeper too many problems. Wigan slightly deserve to be ahead but in fairness it has been a poor first half.

Certainly was, especially after I went up the night before and stayed over - the money that cost along with the travel and ticket would be worth asking a reimbusrsement for, it's high time players salaries were linked to performances. If you or I had put a performance in like that with our employers, we'd have been sacked by now!
