If james was at Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal then he'd be in the England team as would Sol

discusting!! Sol is pretty much the best fit central defender in the country, & DJ is the best keeper, Matty even had a shot. O well, I dont care, I guess it means they have no distractions away from Pompey. Mr McClaren seriously, has no idea.

McClaren has more faces than a clock. Though we long for pompey players in the England team, I'd feel more chuffed with O'Neil and/or Taylor getting a call up. Let Jamo & Sol prove him wrong by playing fantastic for us.

Spineless, got not time for McClaren, and not just because he keeps overlooking Pompey players... Sol and Jamo can't win, they keep doing exactly what he says they have to do to get in but still don't get that chance again. Not that they would but I'd be fully behind Sol and Jamo if McLaren was struck down by injuries in the future and he turned to them but they told him to stick it!!! But being who they are they wouldn't...

McClaren's hopeless - I'm with Maccaroni! Look at the squad - he's picked a bunch of players who are either injuried or will not play due to recovering from injury. Funny how Middlesborough suddenly are supplying players for the national team . . .

i dont think it was a surprise, you could see him squirming under the pressure from the MoTD boys regards Jamo, Sol and Mat Taylor

Vital Pre-Match - League 2, 27th September

The 2016-17 season continues with the latest round of matches this midweek, which will see us among those having a match in this upcoming schedule with three-points the aim of course.

Tranmere loan for Tollitt

Ahead of the weekend win over Barnet, which probably wouldn't have been a game he was involved in anyway, Ben Tollitt was sent out on loan to Tranmere.

All deserve the plaudits for that performance

I think that's a fair assessment from Cook, some played a little better than others but Barnet was a very good team performance from Pompey even if it wasn't 'really' a 5-1 scoreline.
