Overcoming United on their turf is liking asking England to win a Cricket match - impossible.

O.K.we might score first but then hanging on could be a very tall order. My Brother was born in Middlesbrough so it would be nice to put one over him again on Tuesday (4-0 again ?)

In a one off Cup game I just hpe we have a go, trying to contain and hold won't work, I'd rather we had a go and took a beating as we'll take a beating if we sit back too much. Boro spanked Bolton was it 4 or 5-1 last weekend, would be typical Boro to see us spank them 4-0 on Tuesday! I'd love a 4-0, but would take any kind of win...

i hear (albeit from the sun) that ronaldo is on holiday in Dubai this week to rest him for the prem run. balony or true? we should really be playing a 4-4-2 and not sitting back.
pompey pessimist
The Guardian says that Ronaldo may be rested because of a Dubai holiday he had a few days ago. Depending what you read, it may mean we won't need Rednapp's 'snub Ronaldo' plan which involves him revealing it to the press.

We will certainly miss Davis and Pamarot but the news of Ronado's hols makes a postive result more likely. Is this where Kranjcar gets the chance to show his class and ability to a massive TV audience prompting a massive bid from a desperate West Ham . . . . .
