625k Winner Announced
As I`m sure you are all aware by now; Vital Pompey has a signed shirt to give away at the end of the season. A number of different competitions have been run already and there will be many more before the end of the season. All winners will enter the draw for the Pompey shirt (last seasons autographs I`m afraid).
The latest competition required an intelligent, imaginative, funny member to win… unfortunately I couldn`t win my own prize, so we will have to settle with Lysimachus.
The article asked readers to suggest what Pompey could spend 625k on. The money was received from Luton because of a sell on fee in Rowan Vines contract (a former Portsmouth player).
The Answers
The first reply was a shooting coach for Benjani from lmatthews. That`s a fantastic shout but can`t win, because that`s probably what we should spend the money on.
Third Place
Was Russellm who suggested that the 625k should be spent on getting David James a new haircut.
Second Place
Was The Rabbi who remarked we should give the money to Glen Johnson for some bathroom fittings.
First Place
Was Lysimachus who says we should spend the money to sign Rowan Vine.

First of all, thank you for awarding this much coveted prize to me, however I would like to talk to you Paul (your email revealed your real name, Paul 'Horatio Tatumkolo M'babwe Babwe Afrika Al-Hafez Shankar Chaurasia Hussain Ustad Imam Caliph' Fisher) about this on email seeing as my parents simply won't buy stories about receiving something in the mail with words relating to 'prize', 'won' and 'internet' seeing as, for what we all know, the shirt could actually contain traces of bird flu. Thanks again and may I have the oppurtunity to rub some noses. IN YOUR FACE RUSSELM, YOU GOT BEAT BY A 15 YEAR OLD. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ha.
