'I'm Not Worth 5 Million!'

David Nugent has revealed that he is being priced too high to move to the Premiership. He does however admit he would rather be playing in the Premier League with Preston.

Nugent told The Sun;

'I'm happy here and I'd like to get to the Premiership with Preston. There's still 18 months left on my contract, so there's no rush and hopefully, we will sit down in January or at the end of the season.

'I'm never worth 5 million, but the chairman and the gaffer have both said they don't want me to go, so it will probably scare other clubs away.'

Hardly a come and get me plea from the player but Harry has already ruled out a five million pound move for the player.

I've seen him a couple of times,and there's no doubt he knows where the net is, BUT....... 5 million ??? A big risk at that price,in my opinion,even in todays over inflated market.

Well he's right... he's not worth 5million. I dont think theres a player outside the prem who should be vaulued that highly. (Domestic leagues only)

I've seen the guy a few times and like what I've seen, 5m is a heck of a lot of cash but if that's what it will take then I'm sure we'll pay it if 'arry wants him enough. 10-15 goals between January and May and he'd have paid off his transfer fee and more as he would have helped us into Europe! On the other hand it might not work as well as I make it sound...
