Pompey are 'quality'

Frank Quedrue of Fulham has exclaimed that Portsmouth will be a tough match on Saturday. Fulham will travel down to face an injury hit Pompey team.

Queudrue said;

'Portsmouth is always a tricky place to go with the crowd behind them all the time but we need to forget about that and play our game and defend with strength.

'They have quality attacking players like Benjani and Kanu and people in midfield who can deliver like [Pedro] Mendes and [Sean] Davis - they've got some quality players so it's going to be a tricky game.'

Should have some injury news for you tomorrow!

I'll say right back Fulham are a tough side but I'll be looking for us to get back to winning ways, and will hope for six points from our next two games...

This might be a harder game than we think. Fulham have vastly improved & the 'missing' may make a difference.

Without doubt will be tough but with all respect to Fulham it is a game we have to be looking to win, especially at home...
pompeyrug
Good record at home to Fulham - we need a couple at the back to return though.

your record against us is good at Fratton park and I predict a very difficult game , both teams have huge injury concerns and we have been carrying ours all season but still grinding out results. A draw 2-2.

POMPEY HOME - 4 wins, 1 loss think about it!
pompey pessimist
What is there to think Pompey Pessimist, I think we'll take all three points, were at home and as Frank Quedrue said Fratton Park is a difficult place to come and win when the home support is so fantastic. We are not in 4th place for nothing. I'll take 1-0 but would preferre 3-0

Neimi can't keep clean a sheet at Fratton Park and on Friday night he'll ***** his sheet's in the hotel room through fear of the Fratton End

Ooh la la - If you've worn a scummer jumper put up your hand...

For clarity Pompey's first team has a touch of class, Any body who has watched Fulham will see that this game will be no push over and i a not putting a tenner on this one. assuming GJ is still out can you imagine Boa Morte and whatsisface, thingymyjig, thatmushbloke against Pamarot and O'Brien / Dejan. we are going to have some scares. I'll be delighted with Nelson's 1-0, winning ugly is still winning.

after reading reports it looks like Linvoy & Campbell will be back on Saturday against Fulham. For the first time in Pompey's Premiership history we could field a defence of centre backs. With Paramot injured, we could play Linvoy (RB) O'Brien & Campbell (CB) and Dejan (LB) All centre back players but very universal in defence.
nelson
things do look a little more promising.

rumours abound that Martin O'Neil wants to get Todorov, still seems odd that he is not in the squad, when compared to our other non scoring strikers
