Would you like to play for Pompey?

Would you like to play for Pompey?

Vital Pompey is setting up a football team! We will face other Vital Football members and hopefully other Portsmouth websites.

I would like to get a squad of about 22 people together. Matches would likely be on Saturday mornings before a Portsmouth match; e.g. if we where playing Vital Aston Villa members; we would play the morning before the match, go to the pub and then onto the match.

There is a lot of arranging to be done! If you can`t or don`t want to play football you are still welcome to come to the pub that we will be attending after football. (A chance to put faces to usernames)

If you are interested in playing, or have information on a football pitch around Fratton Park we can use…email me at vitalpompey@hotmail.co.uk

Can you include your real name, age, position and Vital Pompey username (if you have one?)

Terms and Conditions

You must be sixteen or over
You don`t need to be a Vital Pompey, member although it is preferred
You don`t have to attend Portsmouth games but do need to be a fan
You will have to pay a small fee to cover pitch hire (a few pound)
You will need to supply your own boots and shin pads
You play at your own risk!

Do you want to start when Millwall come to town for the cup match. You'll need more than Shin Pads.

The reasons I am out are: 1) I am 15 years of age 2) No idea about my father but my mother will probably ask about 'talking to strange men on the new fangled internet thing' 3) Even if I could you would maybe find me a different character in real life. Not that I am a kidney patient or anything but the fact that I am funnier through written words and hearing impaired and it requires good close-to-loud voices in the pub.

Fine then. 1) I am 42 years old and I am a used car salesman 2) No she won't 3) Any particular 'solution' to deafness that anyone could think of in just a few seconds is like telling a Jewish man at Auschwitz in 1940 to claim he isn't Jewish after all.
