Milan Takeover Latest

Milan Mandaric has responded to claims in the newspaper that his bid has "no chance" of being successful.

'I'm quite positive and I just hope we can sort it out sooner rather than later,' he told BBC Radio Leicester.

'I am expecting some response from some people at the club and I'm quite sure that they will promptly do so.'

'First we need to get at least verbal agreement on the points I presented to them and then we would need to put our respective lawyers and accountants in place."

'And then, more importantly, I must talk to the organisation to see what is and what is not there. I expect that to take place pretty soon. I'm always optimistic. I believe that I have put a fair deal on the table."

'If they want to bring in somebody who will have a good chance to take the club where it deserves to be then I believe I have a very good chance.'

The news of Milan`s bid has received a mixed reaction from Pompey fans. Please vote on the poll to the right.

Will never feel any bad feelings towards Milan, and wish him success in everything he does. However, i cant ever wish good fortune on Leicester, they have been our thorn too many times. so which way do i fall??? I dont know. i have abstain i suppose.

It's Milan's money let him spend it on what ever he wants to. We don't need a poll because it doesn't matter what we think. Talk about Pompey not Leicester..

True not even disgraced Graham POLL. Milan is a Businessman first and his passion with Pompey WAS real. No one can complain about what he did and what he may well do. Good Luck in whatever he undertakes as long as he doesn't invest in YOU KNOW WHO he will always have my support and total respect.

Not a problem admin, i didn't. But don't you think the polls should be related to our club or at least add the third option so that you get a correct consensus from the board members?
