Gary O'Neil: I'm Due a Goal!

Gary O'Neil has said that he won't get his hair cut before he scores next:

'I'm desperate to score at the moment, it would be lovely to do it at Old Trafford.

'Considering where it was scored, that one in 2005 is probably the best goal of my career.

'It was just after half time, we were 1-0 down and the ball dropped to me 23-24 yards out so I hit it and it went in. The lads reckoned I mishit it, but I didn't.

'It would be fantastic to score there again, it's about time I got a goal this season. I've been working hard on my finishing at the training ground as well.

'Sean Davis and I have vowed not to get our hair cut until we score.

'Hopefully it will not be too far away.

'My wife is getting a little bit annoyed with my hair at the moment because it's starting to get a little bit of a mess.

'I feel the goal is coming. I'm getting into some good positions now and probably had three or four chances against Reading.

'That's an improvement, I haven't had too many chances this season so hopefully Saturday will be the one.

'I've got to get my hair cut some time this year.'

Who do you think will score first? Davis or O'Neil

Let's hope Gary gets back to fitness soon & scores soon too. Otherwise he'll be a 'Hippy'.

i think O'Neil has been under performing for a while now, but he'll come good and get his goal soon.

Im goin for Davis!..I heard he has the most assists in the prem. Hes had about 4 I think. hes looked on good form this season, to keep out Fernandes hes had to be. Im shocked that Mendes goal last week was our first from the midfield in the prem this term!

Nice to see the midfield chipping in, but as we are now defending properly, and not conceding goals with our gung ho cavalier type of football, then the forwards can get on with the job of scoring.
