Pompey Fans Aren't Number 1

Well another month gone on Vital Football and a scary fact for this Halloween, Portsmouth Fans aren`t number one!

Vital Pompey has 330 members of which we have about 15 regulars. My appeal is; that members post on articles more often and we expand the amount of members to my target of 1,000 by December 2007.

1 astonvilla= 8367
2 spurs= 6654
3 hull= 4923
4 arsenal= 4559
5 bournemouth= 4347
6 forest= 3844
7 rotherham= 2523
8 blackpool= 2404
9 sheffwed= 2402
10 portsmouth= 1946

Next months aim= Top 5

In the premiership Portsmouth are top four however;

1 astonvilla= 8368
2 spurs= 6654
3 arsenal= 4559
4 portsmouth= 1946

Next month aim= to close gap on third to under 500

In the overall count of top point scorers on Vital Football for the month, Vital Pompey members are joint top.

PORTSMOUTH= 2
BOURNEMOUTH= 2
NOTTM FOREST= 2
ARSENAL= 1
BLACKPOOL= 1
HULL= 1

Nelson is Vital Pompey's top poster and he enters the draw for a signed Pompey shirt.

With his arm in a sling, and a bit of a limp, the one eyed Nelson sneaks it. This has been your Trafalgar. "Now we must fight the other vitals on the emails, and fans will still say this was our finest hour"...

Many thanks Pompeygray, but please don't spread rumours that i'm limp. It does nothing for my street credability. LOL

An unexpected visitor

Pompey's Burgess was clearly at a loose end when the game at Crawley was postponed. That much was initially obviously with the level of desire to be involved in footie later revealed.

Cook - no need for a prolific marksman

Cook has said Pompey's lack of a 25 goal striker - I still think we have one - isn't going to impact on our promotion chances. I can see both sides of Cookie's opinion here to be fair.
