'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Redknapp's Chelsea Interview

Harry Redknapp`s interview to Sky Sports;

'I have no complaints (with the result).'We started well for the first 20 minutes and got off to a good start keeping possession.

'In between that period they cut loose and created a lot of chances which our goalkeeper did well with.

'In the last 20 minutes we came back again, got a goal and in the end they were hanging on a bit.

'They are full of quality, they are champions and they are not champions for nothing. They are the best team around and when they start to play they are excellent.'

'He has been fantastic from day one and if there is a better keeper around than David James I would like to know."

'He made some fantastic saves and what we saw today we have that from him every week and he was fantastic today.'

This was alwyas a game which we didn't expect to get muvch out of but it seems some of the substitutions are questionable?

questiionable, we need to set Panorama on it...... praps not if we want an answer.

and hanging on might have failed if we'd had another striker on the pitch Harry..... Still not sure what to make of krunchie, but i did think he improved a little over the spurs game.
russellm
Mendes was creating something special in the middle so was amazed he was substituted. Krunchie needs to improve soon as he was certainly at fault for letting Ballack run into the box for a free header to score Chelsea's 2nd and why was Sol & Matty running for the same ball to Drogba to head onto Ballack. No comunication at the back and need to improve. Give them a rollocking TA.

As regards, Krunchie staying on, Redknapp wanted him to play forward behind the two strikers, which he does regularly for Croatia - his preferred position. It gave us a better attacking option to seal a draw.....

Dont blame Harry for narrowly losing to the champions, lets just thump Newcastle in midweek and thump Reading on Saturday
