A. Cole: Chelsea are Boring to Watch

Andy Cole has added a bit of spice to tomorrow`s match against Chelsea by calling them boring. He doesn`t like to watch Chelsea because according to him they go "1-0 up and then shut up shop."

Cole said;

'I don't want to be disrespectful to Chelsea. What they've done is superb. But if you sat down and asked people who they would like to watch, it would be sides likes Arsenal and Manchester United, because of the way they play football.

'Chelsea play a totally different way. But that's their method and the way they are winning games. The Manchester United team I was in was one of total flair. We weren't a team who went 1-0 up and then shut up shop. With the players we had in our team, we just couldn't do that. We were going to concede goals. But nine times out of 10 we would get more than the other team.

'I think it's a totally different set-up the way Chelsea play. They have a system and stick to that system. If they go a goal up, nine times out of 10 they are more than happy to hold on to that lead and win the game 1-0. I don't think Man Utd are built like that. They have always been a flair team and are not going to change.
'For Chelsea, the top and bottom of it is they are winning games. No-one is going to complain.

'I'm not saying it's the wrong way or the right way. But Jose Mourinho wants to play football like that. Every manager is different.'

Meanwhile Portsmouth will be without Dejan Stefanovic (who is injured) and Glen Johnson (who is unavailable), these two should be replaced by Matt Taylor and Noe Pamarot respectively. Kranjcar is likely to start on the left with Kanu partnering Benjani up top.
