Noe Pamarot: I'm Ready For Chelsea

Noe Pamarot: I'm Ready For Chelsea

Noe Pamarot has told Pompey fans that he is ready for Chelsea Saturday, should Harry Redknapp call upon him. He has only played one match in the premiership this year, against Middlesbrough but insists; "I`m ready."

'If the gaffer tells me to play in that position then I will take my chance and do my best. When you are substitute a lot you want to prove yourself. I did my best against Middlesbrough to prove I want to be part of the team and play regularly from the start.

'I didn't score the goals in that match but I felt I did okay and Harry has said lots of nice things. I'm not sure if I will play against Chelsea yet, but if I do I think it's the chance to show what I can do. The fans haven't seen the best of me yet.

'It's hard not starting regularly and playing for the reserves, but you still have to do your best and perform as well as you can. It's about proving yourself when you have the chance and that's what I want to do against Chelsea if given the opportunity. And hopefully we can also get another good result.'

'Glen is a really good player and we are going to miss him on Saturday. I didn't know him before but now I'm training every day with him and you can see he's a very good player. I am more comfortable when I'm defending whereas Glen is also comfortable when he goes forward. Glen can score as well. He's got a lot of quality, this guy.'

I thought he did fantastic against boro (not 'borough', btw) and it'll be interesting to see him against Chelsea. Also Pamerot played against Mansfield as well.

He played extremely well against Middlesbrough when he was called up, and you have to believe he'll do a top job if he's covering for Glen against Chelsea.

Yep, he surprised me at Boro. He was great, didn't give Dowling a kick. Sadly barca didn't give any of Chelseas players a kick either so we'll up against it.

It won't be easy for Noe Parerot against Chelsea as Barcelona have just found out. I'm sure he will take this opportunity to prove himself like he did up at Boro earlier this season. Another performace like that and he could start gaining the confidence of the Pompey fans.

Done Deal - Smith in permanently from Swindon

The interest Pompey retained in Smith, with him 'in our sights' has resulted in him returning to the Blues on a permanent basis after signing for an 'undisclosed fee' from Swindon.

Cushioning the blow

Much, that needed saying, about Webster's exit for Ipswich and the arrival of Clarke in return (and cash) has been said hasn't it? Doyle's been spot on with what he said.

Swindon striker in 'Pompey's sights'

Michel Smith, who was of course on loan last season, could return? He's still in 'Pompey's sights' by all accounts after Swindon informed him he's 'surplus to requirements' now.
