Southampton have claimed that, to their knowledge, they aren`t one of the eight clubs caught up in this bung enquiry. According to them no one knows and recent newspaper reports are rubbish!
'A total of 25 clubs are still involved in the inquiry and the Premier League have indicated they will be writing to all of them, and therefore it is impossible to know which of them are being investigated,' Hoos told the club's website.
'None of the other 24 clubs actually knows if they are being investigated either. It is all speculation.
'If we are one of the clubs under investigation then we will give our full co-operation as we welcome this inquiry and would be keen to ensure everything is above board and correct.'
Portsmouth are also supposed to be one of the eight reported clubs being investigated. I don`t believe that anything concrete will come out of this enquiry, leave your thought below.

A lot of teams are being investigated and I am sure that they all know.

The only issue will be if the transfers being investigated at scum involve Redknapp. Otherwise, all at pompey have allowed auditors into their personal affairs and so far im hearing its smoke no fire.

Note the phrase " to their knowledge " they aren't part of the bung scandal. It's what the yanks call " plausible denial ". If/when it turns out that the scummers are involved, the big wigs will try to say they knew nothing of it. Anyway, they're just plain guilty of any available wrongdoing by virtue of being scummers !!!

When it ultimately turns out that in fact the scummers are involved (which as the epicentre of all that is evil in the world, they most surely are in some remote way) theire management bigwigs will be able to say they knew nothing of it.
