I`m annoyed, so I apologise for the bad language about to appear in this article. (This article will probably be edited tomorrow) I haven`t seen the reply on the T.V yet but I don`t need to, I was at the game and he dived.
This argument isn`t with Tottenham, their fans or their manager, it`s with Zokora. As I`ve said, I haven`t seen the reply yet, but I think that while taking on Mendes the ball got away from him. Not getting to the ball he decided to go down.
I`ve spoken to some Tottenham fans and they are disgusted, like myself. Then theirs those smug Spurs fans, for example the one that text me this;
And people say cheating gets you no where haha
The question every Pompey fan has to ask themselves is; If that was a Pompey player diving for a penalty how would you feel? If you can, hand on heart, say that you`d be disgusted in your player, then you have every right to be annoyed with Zokora.
I know I`m biased but it always seems to happen to Pompey! I`m not talking about soft penalties; I`m talking about seemingly blatant cheating i.e. Pires, Uriah Rennie and Zokora.
Harry has since told the press that today`s ref has apologised;
'He came to me at half-time and said, 'Harry, I'm sorry, I've made a big mistake'. But what can I do about it now?
Also does anyone know why all those people where kicked out?

I have seen the replay and you have every right to be *****ed off!!! It was a shocking piece of play and I hope he gets banned for unsporting behaviuor. I know it wont help you but they little ***** should be taught a lesson.

P**s poor officiating, a little consolation that the referee said sorry to Harry. People HAVE to be punished for things like this? Thatcher got crucified for what he did to Mendes, so although this is a different matter why can't people be banned for cheating like this? It will stop people from doing it as they'll be out the team and may find it hard to get back in...

the solution is easy; either bring in tv fourth officials who can overule a ref decision OR allow this stupid behaviour and let the FA give zokora a red card for unsporting behaviour, 2 match ban and 2 match fine. that will stop those cheating *****ts (zokora, ronaldo) diving around. zokora said he didnt mean to do it, look at his face when he dives, he knows exactly what hes doing, and if he 'slipped' then why didnt he tell the ref rather than start banter with mendes ...****!!!!!!!

Spurs fan - I was at the game as well and when i saw it I like the ref thought it was a penalty...obviously wrong. Its hard when you see something like that, i hate divers and he shouldn't have done it. Sorry guys, I hope the bad descisons get even out for you at the end of the season.
It was a good game though, and thought we desereved the win we had loads more chances. I think pompey look like they need some firepower up front, two chances in a match isn't going to get you any points.

Pompeyrug your an idiot!! how can you even mention what that thug Thatcher did to one of your best players in the same sentence is incredible. Zokora made a meal of the anticipated contact and the ref got it wrong and very unfortunate for pompey. Thatcher could of put mendes in a wheel chair for the rest of his life and has a history of violent behaviour. He had no intentions of getting the ball and the whole focus was on inflicting as much harm on mendes as possible. It disgusts me to hear comments like this. Thatcher deserved a prison sentence so don`t go talking about crucifying punishment!!! It was nice to see mendes playing on the pitch and pulling the strings for pompey. And I am sure his wife and Kids were happy to see him playing.

cockeril sod pff you cheats i hope Zokora plays at fratton park, by the way i was at the game watching from a box at the half way line and the sours fans i was with thought your man would get a booking. Furthermore and chatting to Martin Peters in the 1st floor box bar after the game, even he said it was a terible decision and that justice had not been done. REALITY CHECK you won by cheating and that north east london eye site problem seems to have got to you all.

kingnichols loosing to cheats wont either will it. When Owen was awarded a false penalty he kicked the ball at the keeper, not much chance of that kind of sportsmanship at spurs is there.

No proper fan in the English league wants to see cheating in our game. Players cheating for penalties also cheats the paying fan. I certainly don't want to pay for my season ticket only to watch players diving in the box.
We all want to see goals, but fair goals. A free flowing match when you don't notice the ref is a good game but how many times does this happen.

Get over it we won, you lost. All of these article calling Zokora a cheat are way over the top. Players dive all the time it's a sad fact, but it is now a part of the modern game.
