Dejan's Milan Tribute

Dejan's Milan Tribute

Dejan has praised Milan Mandaric and has told his team mates that they let Milan down. Milan who played a big part in getting Dejan to the club, has become a good friend on Dejans.

He said: 'I am disappointed. We should have won for Milan because it was his last game. But we didn't.

'In seven years in charge he brought a lot of good players to this club and because of him we are where we are at the moment, it's as simple as that.

'We wanted to pay a big tribute to him, especially myself. We have an excellent friendship in the three years since I signed here and I wish him good luck along with the rest of the lads.

'After the game he came into the dressing room and I saw on his face he was upset but he said 'good luck' to everyone and we wished him good luck as well.

'He's going to always stay in our minds as a big football fan and a Pompey fan as well.

'Milan's got his club in Slovenia but he will always stay here and the supporters must remember him as a big man.

'I know how much he has cared for this football club over the years, through bad times and good times as well. He's a great, great man.

'We have been friends since I signed for this football club, sometimes off the field as well we see each other, and of course we come from the same country.

'We have an excellent friendship and he is a great man.

'Because of him I play for this football club and I will definitely stay in touch with him.

'But I'm sure he's going to come again to watch games here again, absolutely sure.'

IT WAS THEM!!!!! THEIR FAULT !!!!, ....THE FORWARDS !!!! IT'S ALL THEIR FAULT !!!! :-) that'd be the same forwards who scored the goals that put us on top then

Video - Pompey 2-1 Leyton Orient

Conor Chaplin made up for missing a penalty - the third spot kick in a row I think we've missed isn't it? - with a brace as Pompey deservedly saw off Leyton Orient 2-1 at Fratton Park.
