Peter Storrie Got It Wrong

Peter Storrie Got It Wrong

Peter Storrie has apologised for comments he made over the summer about Defoe wanting to join Pompey. It now turns out that someone with no association with Defoe had fed this information to Peter Storrie.

'This was information I was told in June and not in the last few days before the transfer deadline.

'I believed this information to be true but it was not from discussions with Jermain or his advisors.'

All fairness to Peter Storrie for admitting his mistake, all credit to Tottenham, for not kicking up a fuss about Peter`s comments as well.

PS is a lame duck. The quicker Sasha puts him out of his misery the better for all of us.

LoL, LoL hey Les !!! as soon as i saw the story on newsnow i thought of you mate, with a source like that you never had a blood y chance !!! I posted many months ago I'd heard similar as Storagematt has posted, once Milan was gone he will be given a period of grace to tie up various projects such as stadium planning etc, then David Chiswick takes over. Also media street talk was his poor attitude was responsible for D'Als departure, however he does have a good reputation with other clubs and was regarded as a good counter balance to Milan at some of his least stable times.
