'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'i'll sue you'

Kevin Bond has threatened he will sue the BBC.

Bond's solicitor Kevin Price said in a statement: 'My client will be taking proceedings for libel against the BBC over the programme and the media hype generated to publicise it.

'The short extract from my client's conversation with the reporter was taken out of context and presented in a completely misleading manner.

'It was all smoke and mirrors. It seems that my client was only included because after one year of working on the programme the producers were struggling to fill the one-hour slot.'

Kevin Bond is thought to be likely to quit Newcastle with the club staying quiet.

This is going to be a very interesting situation and one unfortunatly don't know enough about, the Harry thing appears harmless from what he has said. Is it only personnel involved/in trouble? Or will become "Italian" with clubs fined/demoted?
TeddyLyon
no, the premier league enquiry could result in harsh punishment but nothing much will come of this

As with a lot of things like this, i'm sure we didn't hear the full conversation with scummer bond. Its a well known way that the press use any sort of reply to them. They take out words and make it sound like they want it to.
