Rocha to return?

Since his release, for the second time in his Pompey career, a number of people have been calling for Rocha John Rocha's return.

Well, this is something that could well happen...

Guy Whittingham has admitted that talks have started over his possible return to Fratton, which is 'probably' going to happen if a mutually beneficial deal for all can be agreed.

Reading between the lines, and I doubt that many will be surprised, a number of changes are likely to happen on the playing front when January arrives with players coming and going.

This means that RJR's return would be more likely to come in January?

I know that we need changes in personnel, failure to do this will see us continue to slide in the direction we are, but all the while continued threats of redundancies remain I fee somewhat uneasy with us bringing in new players...

That said 'if' it really is something that is financially viable then another return to Fratton for RJR is a no brainer for me and I would welcome him back.

Should his return be confirmed then I would guess that Josh Thompson's permanent exit moves a step closer...

Can't run, can't turn, will get out paced in a league 1 that is on average younger than the other leagues. Odd statements from Whitt recently that dont seem to match his supposedly short term, help us out in a bind ambitions; or is just the usual dodgy writing in the news.?
