Rodgers off? Appy 'in the dark!'

Having been 'put up for loan' it seems pretty clear, under the current manager anyway, that Luke Rodgers does not have a future at Pompey.

Shrewsbury, the club where the 30-year-old began his career, have admitted an interest in him so a loan move could be on...

The guy started quite well but has badly faded away, injury did not help him but he is not looking the player he was when he first arrived.

Apparently, according to BBC sport, he is going to be returning to America in January anyway with him only leaving previously due to Visa problems so come what may he will be moving on shortly?

So, Rodgers looks off and the likelihood is that Appy will join him, well leave before him in fact...

He claims that he is 'in the dark' as to what his future is - come on, you are either staying with Pompey and want this or you want to move on and have held talks with Blackpool and will soon be off!

Blackpool have scheduled a press conference for 6pm when they are expected to announce their new manager. Lets just hope - staying or not - this will put an end to the speculation once and for all and we can either move on with him focusing on us, or move on with us looking for a new manager with him having left...
