End of the Appy days?

End of the Appy days?

The latest 'rumours' are growing that Appy is on his way?

Having been 'linked' with this job and the next for the past month or so the latest one - and the last one available? - Blackpool is 'said', according to The Mail, to be his...

An appointment at Bloomfield Road could come as earlier as tomorrow with it 'claimed' that talks have taken place with Blackpool believing an appointment can be made fairly quickly.

Appy is remaining tight lipped, although - as with most jobs recently - the fact that he has not ruled this out tends to suggest - like most others - he would take it?

He has worked under really difficult conditions, and I cannot say I blame him if he wants out but if he does want out I would sooner he did go as we need fully committed people.

Players, manager and coaches come and go so if Appy does go so be it - lets just see what tomorrow brings though eh...

Had a bad feeling... But allieviated slightly (!) by the odds being 9/1 with Ince odds-on. But 'Appy isn't one for denying all knowledge/interest (it seems), tho' I think he may have done when the first in this (big) bunch of jobs came up. Meant to be appointing their new boss later today.

You wouldn't or couldn't blame him for going. He deserves better & at some stage he will get it. We deserve better off the pitch & hopefully we will get that too.

So much for the loyalty and love of the Pompey fans, do me a favour. Before we have the usual "what he had to put up with cries", just think a moment. Compared to 99% of us fans he was earning damn good money. He wasn't an experienced manager, he was learning his trade and his tactical nous was no better than Steve Cotterill's...FACT!!! Now...!!! with the light visible at the end of the tunnel he's off. Am I surprised?... no! because he's just like the majority in this game "self-interested with the integrity of a wasp". I truly hope that we can get somebody to manage this club and start a new era... no pretenders looking for the next leg up while pledging allegiance.... PUP

Evans - Right back or right midfield?

Drew Talbot and Adam Buxton are fit but Gareth Evans continues to fill in at right back. Should this change? If so where would it leave the battle between Evans and Carl Baker?
