Thomas departs

In all honesty, even if it is a little disappointing, the news that Wes Thomas has returned to Bournemouth is hardly a surprise is it?

The writing has been on the wall for a few days really, a new manager at Bournemouth was always likely to see them (Eddie Howe) want to take 'a closer look at him', and this had been hinted at too.

As such The Cherries have recalled Thomas with him 'ordered to return to training' on Monday - this means he misses our trip to Sheffield United, shown live on sky on Monday night of course.

According to The News Appy is 'disappointed' but 'not too do downbeat' as he has an 'as yet unnamed' striker that he hopes he can sign over the weekend.

I thank Thomas for his efforts, he has worked well for us and with Izale McLeod and also chipped in with a few goals, which has helped...

As soon as Howe was named this was bound to happen, but hey ho, he done well for us, and if he doesn't fit in, in their set up, maybe we can go in for him in January?
