Pompey predictions league update #9

Pompey predictions league update #9

The Pompey predictions league continued at the weekend when we Scunthorpe came to Fratton.

For the first time at home this season, and for only the second time in total, Pompey managed to win!

A good few, whilst expectations are generally low, still thought we would get the win with a few also getting the 2-1 scoreline correct, these were paultsmouth, jsander48, PFCblue and khodgkins. As a result they all picked up a maximum of 20pts from this game.

Following this maximum haul paultsmouth claims top spot, his 20pts from Scunny takes his total to 50pts overall.

The leader last time, PompeyFcMad, drops to 4th behind jsander48 and PFCblue, who both climb to 2nd and 3rd, respectively, thanks to their returns of 20pts too.

Scunthorpe also brought an end to the month as far as predictions went, which meant it was time for the first predictor of the month to be named!

Jsander48 and PFCblue both tied on 50pts for the month, but sadly there can be only one and it was jsander48 that saw his name drawn form the hat to be crowned the predictor of the month for September.

If you can contact me (portsmouth@vitalfootball.co.uk) I will let you know what the prize is...

This is how the table, of over 35 at present, currently stands:
