Buzsaky signing pulled off

Buzsaky signing pulled off

Pompey have pulled off something of a 'transfer coup' by managing to bring in Akos Buzsaky.

So long as the FA and football league approve this he has signed an initial 1-month deal, with Appy, as he told The Pompey Site, saying: 'Akos was playing Premier League football last season, but he's here because he just wants to play football.

'He's a very good player who can play off a striker and pick a pass - he's a fantastic addition to our squad.'

As most of us will know, I guess, he was with QPR last season but left them in the summer - not only was he with QPR, he actually featured a fair amount last season.

I, due to the fact I live in the West County, know the guy from his time with Plymouth and recall him being a pretty tasty player, with the glimpses I saw of him during his time with QPR backing this up.

Yep, I have got to say that I am pretty chuffed with this arrival as I could not see this one coming off!

Assuming this approval is given I think we can probably say that we will have the 30-year-old attacking midfielders services until the turn of the year now, once January arrives though I would 'expect' he will move onto pastures new though...

Will be a fantastic signing. He proved at points last season that he was still a classy player. I don't think he was keen to hang around and play second fiddle which is why he left. I think he'll be a really good signing for you and I wish yourselves and Akos all the best.

Time as always will tell but all things being even a real coup. I remember scoring a fab goal for QPR a couple of seasons ago. A few tap ins for us will do.

I am impressed with Appy's ability to bring in such a Classy player. At least I can put aside my deep thoughts that Appy is not as great a manager as we think (in fact i think he is as hopeless as I could be) and think about how on earth did he manage to get in Akos! WoW! PuP!
