Wes Thomas signs

Reports are growing, with The BBC the latest to pick up on this, that Wes Thomas is about to join us on loan?

The Bournemouth striker has failed to score for our south coast rivals in 3 outings this season but with them having a fair few strikers to pick from they can almost certainly afford to lose one.

He scored 11 goals last season having arrived for a decent fee from Crawley, where he had enjoyed a successful spell.

I would have loved it to have been his Cherries, and also former Crawley, teammate Matt Tubbs but that was never gonna happen, and lets face it we are not in a position to be overly choosy on who we pick up are we!

A 1-month loan deal will apparently be signed in time for him to make his debut tomorrow.

An 'audacious move' to sign Akos Buzsaky is still being plotted, any arrival is not going to come in time for tomorrow though. Luis Boa Morte could also come in, again though any arrival would not come in time for tomorrow...

UPDATE

His signing has now been confirmed, with him indeed coming in on a 1-month loan deal.

He has now joined - seems worth a punt for a month and gives us another body.

I agree Harris & Walker should have starts. My concern about this guy is; why are Bournemouth a team who, by their own admission, desperately need strikers happy to let him go out on loan?
