Herminator 2: (No) Payment Day

I think that we are all well aware of the fact that The Herminator could well return to Pompey, right?

Growing reports at the weekend were saying that he had even offered to 'play for free!'

Whilst this being the case is not 100% certain, it is also not being ruled out with Appy confirming, to The News, on Wednesday that the 38-year-old is back training with Pompey.

He will be treated like 'any other trialist' and if he can prove that he is fit enough, and can offer enough; then he will be brought in.

The Herminator has a highly infectious personality so you cannot help but think he will offer plenty off-the-pitch, if he can offer something on it too he could make a fine re-addition to our squad - if we can genuinely do this without paying him anything then it is a no-brainer really isn't it...

PLAY UP POMPEY!

Great news - perhaps we can resurrect Hermann's brithday party bashes!! What other players would come back for free?

I love this guy. It would be fantastic if Hermie could start again at left back (especially as Jon Harley was seriously suspect on Tuesday - despite what The News said) A bit of old passionate Pompey, a bit of history to 'join-up' this squad with the old, he's mad and I'm glad!

Et-Tu... my thoughts exactly .. who better to tell them what the club can be like .. spread a little bit of inspiration maybe

afcb fan here, great news for you if hermie does come back and play for nothing, what a loyal footballer he is. We need more people like him in football. Good luck in next round of jpt.

I would suggest it maybe a bit more about getting himself back in the shop window than simple charity or loyalty - but hey beggars can't be choosers

Vintage shops are on the increase - very popular these days.
