MOTM v Oldham

MOTM v Oldham

The votes had been cast; these numbers toted up with it decided among the Vital Pompey fraternity that Brian Howard was the man of the match against Oldham.

It was another poor Pompey performance, and another defeat!

This game, as said, was poor and there was not really a lot of quality from either side. The referee did not help this with a woeful showing, as bad as I think I have ever seen - and I have seen Kevin Friend enough times to see poor, so it must have been bad! - but the likes of Howard and Mustapha Dumbuya were positives from it.

Howard seems to be growing in stature for Pompey with his influence growing with each game it seems with him worthy of the man of the match of the match accolade that he received.

Worthy of a new deal?

So, Danny Rose, as we know, isn't going to play again this season. As things stand this would mean he'll not pull on a Pompey shirt again as his contract expires in the summer.
