Andersen to follow?

Andersen to follow?

By all accounts Mikkel Andersen was one of the first players, if not first, lined up to join Pompey this summer (yeah right, what summer!)

Seen as you need a keeper to play football a keeper is a good starting point so it would make sense that he was 'lined up' first of all!

Although this loan deal from Reading seemed to be scrapped earlier this week...

Perhaps not though?

Andersen himself, as quoted in bold.dk, is confident that he will 'play on Saturday against Bournemouth': 'I have been notified after practice today that the clubs have agreed on a deal so now I am just waiting for Portsmouth manager Michael Appleton to call me.

'I expect to play on Saturday against Bournemouth.'

Nothing has been 'confirmed' yet so we await something to see if he will indeed play tomorrow...

Hasn't Eastwood come here for first team, starting line-up football? What's he going to think now? You don't want to mess a bloke called Eastwood.

The club need two keepers and Pompey can sign Andersen as an emergency transfer - there are special rules concerning goalkeepers. Appy will decide who is first choice. OS still not confirmed move yet.
