Friday 10th August 2012

Friday 10th August 2012 will be the day that Portsmouth Football Club ceases to exist unless something gives in the meantime!

The countdown really can begin now, with a definite date set for our liquidation, if this is to happen...

Trevor Birch, who has also disputed TBH's view of events, has revealed that 'notice' has been handed to the players and staff at Pompey that we will be liquidated on Friday 10th August, unless players agree to a compromise on the monies that they are owed and a takeover can go through.

So, D-Day has been set!

As always I will say that I do not want liquidation but at least we now have a defined date set and will now know that one way or the other things will be resolved very soon...

I have a sneaking suspicion that something will give. Don't ask me what though, I haven't a clue. Which just goes to prove that its not just PFC's management that talk in riddles...

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
