With the liquidation of Pompey very much possible, if not probable, it is hard to get that excited about any potential player arrivals with this season in mind really!

Although planning as if there will be a future is something that Appy continues to have to do, and is doing much to his credit...

The latest trialist looking to 'earn a deal' with Pompey is Liam Walker.

Having impressed for Gibraltar against Pompey in our 4-0 defeat on Friday the midfielder has been training with us in Spain and is currently taking part in our friendly, which we are losing, against Brighton - although we have scored and Walker went close with a decent 1st half effort!

'If' there is to be a PFC next season Walker has as good a chance as any of having a part to play for it...
