There are two sides to every story, right?
Well Tal Ben-Haim has, talking to sky sports, put across his following further damning comments by Trevor Birch in the Independent about the Israeli international.
Whilst, lets make no bones about it, the likes of TBH may well not be 'helping' the club in some ways - or so it seems - he has pointed out that Birch is on a VERY good fee as an administrator so why is this not questioned?
He feels that maybe his fee should also be cut if the players are continually asked to take cuts: 'I've lost a lot of money, but it's not about the figures. It's over £2.5m net but I'm prepared to lose more, I'm prepared to help the club and lose more money.
'On the other hand, the administrator's fee is not less than what I earn. Nobody talks about that, so I prefer to lose more but he has to cut his fees as well.'
TBH has also questioned Birch's constant criticism of people in the media...
He is claiming that not enough talk face-to-face with the players is actually taking place: 'I can say when it went to administration we sat with the administrator, and in five to 10 minutes we had a deal.
'We agreed everything, Trevor spoke with us but then he disappeared for two months, so it's not our fault.
'He forgot that you have to negotiate with the players and not with the press. The press are not going to sign a compromise, they have to sit with us and tell us the figures exactly.'
So, perhaps Birch needs to be spending more time actually talking in person to the players in question perhaps?
Best thing of all would be if people started to actually play things out in private and not publicly and get deals done that need doing eh!
Better news though, another body is 'close' to leaving Fratton though!
Leeds have officially announced that a two-year deal has been agreed with Luke Varney to join them.
He will join his former Pompey teammates Jason Pearce, who signed some weeks back, and Jamie Ashdown, who has just signed for them following his release.
Lets just hope, that like them, PFC will still have football to play this season...
