Is Andersen the loanee keeper?

Based on the assumption that we will make it into the new season we all know that Appy is lining up a premier league keeper to come in on loan this season.

What we do not know is who this will be?

A number of names have come and gone, most of which have been denied by Appy as being the one that he wanted.

The latest, coming from what sky sports 'understands', is Reading keeper Mikkel Andersen...

Apart from what sky sports tells us about him, 'the 23-year-old is highly rated at Reading and the club are thought to be happy to loan him out again so that he can get valuable first-team action under his belt', I cannot say that I personally know anything about the Danish keeper at all!

Do you?

I know nothing much about him at all other than he's now 3rd or 4th in the pecking order for No1 stopper at Reading. Sounds like a good move to me though. Reading rate him, but he's very young for that first team slot. They want to keep him and not let him get stale.... simples..... loan him out to Pompey. Good move if it comes off.

He played one game on loan at Brentford - we won 2-1 in extra time and he went absolutely potty Got sent off against us the following season Bit mad, decent enough keeper
