Mokoena off - others close behind?

Mokoena off - others close behind?

Slowly but surely, and to be honest more and more of the highest earners we need to go, are inching toward the Fratton exit - if not going through it for the last time!

'An agreement' has been reached with Aaron Mokoena to terminate his contract with Pompey so he can join South African outfit Bidvest Wilts on a free, as long as the football league and football association 'approve' this though...

The exit conditions seemingly demanded by Mokoena recently were ludicrous, it would be interesting to see what the 'agreement' on his final year eventually was, but another that we needed to go is almost gone now!

Others continue to be 'close' to joining him...

According to what 'sky sports understands' Marko Futacs could be next as he is 'in talks' with Leicester, but Watford and Barnsley would also like him.

Pompey offered him a new contract, even though he did not accept this we would still get some compensation for him as we did make this offer and he is under the age of 23 - the sooner he decides where he is off to the better though!

I also read in the forum that Erik Huseklepp is training with Leicester?

Methinks that someone has their wires crossed perhaps and they meant Futacs...

It has been said that Chuck and Luke Varney 'could' leave before the week is out, so I do wonder what Friday will bring?!

Fans favourite Colchester MotM...Exeter tomorrow

I do not think we can deny Chaplin made an impact when he came on against Colchester but as much as I love the guy (and think he's got an awesome future) was he really the MotM?
