Maybe Futacs will stay?

Maybe Futacs will stay?

It was expected that Marko Futacs' future lay away from Fratton Park, but maybe not?

After missing last weeks deadline to commit his future to Pompey, having been offered a new contract, that was thought to be that...

That new contract offer is still under consideration though and despite its reduced terms Trevor Birch says that he could still stay as he 'thinks' he does want to after all!

Yep, I appreciate that it is a tough decision in some ways but he is wanted so he either wants to sign or he does not.

Come on Marko there is NO discussion to be had on the wages as what has been offered is what will be received simple as!

Maybe I am cynical but perhaps the interest that he agent claims was there in the Hungarian has not actually materialised?

Either way, even if you can get the point that there is no 'hurry' as such surely if he wants to stay then he stays, if not then he moves on...

I do hope we have a competitive squad for the first game, I am meeting a few Green Army mates in the Britannia pub before the game, and don't want to have to lose knowing i will see these guys regularly. Just as an extra, the Brit does welcome Away fans and as a weatherspoons has a a steak night on a tuesday-ideal night out

I think this means no other club has offered him a contract and to stay in England he will need to play for Pompey. Marko, sign on score a hatful of goals and we can sell you in January for a decent profit.

Davies to Tranmere as Blues close in on Thompson?

With Burgess, Clarke and Whatmough ahead of him Davies' chances at Pompey are limited, especially if Swindon's Thompson completes move to Fratton Park - Davies could join Tranmere?
