Fans Expected More Signings

Fans Expected More Signings

We expected more signings! Not my view yours... Asked Are You Happy with the signings So Far in the latest poll most of you, 71% of you in fact voted this way.

Personally I had hoped for more players, so can see why we voted this way, but didn't expect more. I would rather we spent money wisely rather than throw it at anyone, as we have. The players Redknapp has currently signed are quality players who will benefit the squad, most of whom the first team.

To sum up the Polls results
22% of you are happy with the players signed so far
71% of you expected more
and the remaining 7% are less than impressed with the players 'arry has purchased so far.

To be unhappy with the signings is ludicrous, all have experience of being in or around the International set-up so to snap up four Internationals, three of whom are England Internationals, and one former squad member for under £2 million pounds can't be bad.

I do think that a couple more signings will be needed before the midnight deadline on Thursday 31st August (particularly that goalscoring forward) to keep the natives happy 'arry!

Currently being polled is the following First Team To Beat Pompey Before Christmas! (If anyone can...)

today we are being linked with a £5mil (expected) potential bid in Mido... personally better value for money than martins and proven goalscorer at the top level (scored 14 for spurs)... would he link up well with the current team and current strike force ?

What do we hope for from the rest of the season?

There seems to be a lot of unhappiness around, despite a pretty decent season in my opinion. Well, certainly our best season in a long while.
