Fans Expected More Signings

We expected more signings! Not my view yours... Asked Are You Happy with the signings So Far in the latest poll most of you, 71% of you in fact voted this way.

Personally I had hoped for more players, so can see why we voted this way, but didn't expect more. I would rather we spent money wisely rather than throw it at anyone, as we have. The players Redknapp has currently signed are quality players who will benefit the squad, most of whom the first team.

To sum up the Polls results
22% of you are happy with the players signed so far
71% of you expected more
and the remaining 7% are less than impressed with the players 'arry has purchased so far.

To be unhappy with the signings is ludicrous, all have experience of being in or around the International set-up so to snap up four Internationals, three of whom are England Internationals, and one former squad member for under £2 million pounds can't be bad.

I do think that a couple more signings will be needed before the midnight deadline on Thursday 31st August (particularly that goalscoring forward) to keep the natives happy 'arry!

Currently being polled is the following First Team To Beat Pompey Before Christmas! (If anyone can...)

today we are being linked with a 5mil (expected) potential bid in Mido... personally better value for money than martins and proven goalscorer at the top level (scored 14 for spurs)... would he link up well with the current team and current strike force ?

Mido's good, but we can do better. Muntari would be a great signing and so would Appiah, let's hope Harry and Sasha can work they magic and attract top players to this club (not ronaldinho, since he joined Barca he does no running what so ever)!

71% of the votes. Let's not forget that some of those votes were cast PRIOR to the signing of Sol Campbell. I personally think that the statistic is somewhat distorted. Given what we have and how well we played in our opening game would suggest that we should be at least 50% happy with the current new crop. If you voted again at month end it would be interesting to see what the REAL concensus of opinion is.

Mido managed to keep Defoe out of the Spurs team for most of last season, so I'd be happy for him to come.....

Stuart M sorry Mido did not keep Defoe out of the Spurs line up Robbie Keane did. Jol's little and large show as it is called.

Well if we don't attract some of the big players now, it will just as hard come January. Let's not get carried away with the start. This team of ours has limitations.

TBH, the more we sign, the more we want at the end of the day. I would like to a couple more before the TW closes though.

I'll be glad when all this speculation on who we will who we wont sign is all over, its doing my head in! Lets just hope that the players we have can continue to do the business as they did against Blackburn. PUP!
