Can it get worse???

Can it get worse???

Can it get worse???

Martins all set to sign for Newcastle

Anelka says he is close to joining Bolton

Steve Malbranque could be off to West Ham if you read reports

Middlesborough are going to swoop for Nugent, so says the papers this morning

Petrov deal has fallen through

We have two players in the left sided positions

Can it get better???

Well it has to doesn`t it?

Pompey are "hopeful" of signing Muntari this week

We also have Harry Redkanpp in charge and if he can`t get anyone no one can

Korroman has signed

Sacha is working on Anelka deal and he is yet to sign for Bolton

Martins hasn`t put pen to paper YET

Are you starting to panic, or have you got faith?

After all the clubs been through over the last 40 years the answer to the question is yes it could be worse and frequently has been.

I realise that but it doesn't do any harm to remember how far we have come. I still expect Harry to come up with a signing or two to stun the football world. Mind you i'm an optomist until we get the first defeat of the season, my optomism is lasting a little longer this year. lol

I have to agree, I think there still may be 1 or 2 more signings to come and if honest I think we need them. I think there's a lot of smoke screening going on and adding to the press speculation we are being led to believe we are interested in about £40M worth of talent.

I think either Muntari or Petrov will sign just before the window closes if we stand our ground. Still need a left back and a striker and probably a centre half to go with that. Koroman will hopefully get chance to show what he can do this season. I thought he showed promise last season in the little bit i saw of him.

Things could definately be worse, we could be scum, lol!!! Nah, seriously things could be far worse than they are. Although I'd like more to arrive, and if we want to finish in the top half we probably need to sign a couple more players, but I'd have settled for Johnson, James, Campbell, Thompson and Kanu around Christmas time...

Big Ben returns!

There's no doubting how important Davies is to us, we most definitely missed the former Sheffield United man against Orient but Cook's confirmed he'll start against Bristol Rovers.
