Umm some interesting ones here!!! Firstly, away at palace in 1987, some 10,000 of us up there to party, just needing a point to get promoted back to the top flight for the first time since the 50s. Vince Hillaire gets sent off & a very young John Salako scores a late winner for them. Party on hold but Oldham lost the following night & that was enough to send up. Just a shame we couldn't have done it ourselves & partied in London. Also for the home game in 1991 & the championship winning party as we went to Bradford & won 5-0 another amazing day. In 2004 we hosted Arsenal, the unbeaten English champions & celebrated our own first season survival with a draw. Along with runners up Man Utd, we were the only 2 sides that season that Arsenal didn't beat in the league.

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
