Yes but I understood Mr S was already in negotiation with them, or was that the kiss of death? Where does all this stuff come from? Have we c***ed up again?

To be far for an outsider looking in, at this stage why should he overlook Newcastle for us. It's a bit like us being snubbed for Brighton foe example. Give a year or so & we may compete but we have to back it up on & off the pitch.

who cares? he's 27 really not 21. all thanks to a doctored passport. plus he'll be linking up with Shola amoebi. hardly the most terrifying strike force in the premiership. I'm sure he'll score home and away against us but Pompey could spend £10m better elsewhere.

any time it is quoted "backed by Sasha Gaydamk's millions" we dont get the player in question & ive seen it all over this one!!! I really dont know how good this guy is anyway, has anyone watched him?

he's excellant, he may be 80% of the way to newcastle but he may not have heard what pompey have to offer yet

We can offer him a better wage packet and match any Newcastle offer. I think Peter Storie will nab him at the last minute. I would love to see him at Portsmouth and so would the board. I think this is one that Pompey won't let go without a fight.

Great skillful player, doesn't score alot of goals but will certainly help Lua Lua, Toddy, Benji & Kanu score many and remember this Fernades guy is still floating about with his skill.
