The sooner he leaves the better!

The sooner he leaves the better!

I had a bit of a 'rant' about Tal Ben-Haim back along, but then issued a slight apology.

Although given his 'snub' of the lap of appreciation at the weekend - something that I was very surprised to see Benjani also miss out on - and his apparent 'snub' on autograph hunters too the sooner this mercenary b*****d leaves the better.

I have a sense of déjà vu with these sentiments though...

Well, according to 'super agent' Pini Zahavi TBH will 'not play in league one'.

Suits me fine!

I do not want him to play for this club again in league one, or wherever, and the sooner he leaves the better - sadly I can see some 36,000 reasons, or so, as to why he will not hurry to move on!

It is all very well saying 'other clubs are interested' but few will come anywhere near to paying him what he is being paid by Portsmouth Football Club and you tend to fear that he will wait until pre-season, if we get that far, (at least) before going anywhere and would want some form of 'pay off' to move aside willingly?!

'Mutual agreement' is a phrase used quite a lot by clubs these days.

If only we could get this with him, and a few others we could do with moving on to, eh...

PLAY UP POMPEY!

I'm not surprised he didn't sign or wave; the fans including me wanted him gone a long time ago. People need to get real; particularly Pompey fans- fickle at best we are. Think about it you spend 2 years accusing the major practically single handedly bring the club to its knees then you want him to miss us. Grow up perleease! The main thing is he should go without costing the club a penny more - that's a home win.

I noticed that he did not do the lap of honour. I also noticed that Kitson did...... Just think tho, Tal Ben Haim's wage could pay the whole team and still leave us a bit of change!

Still think, that we should make him and others redundant - legally it is possible, but reputation it is a proble, but FFs we have little business reputation left anyway. Cut the deadwood out, replace with other players who are utility rather than a direct replacement, and away you go. Simplistic and naive I probably am, but remove the leaches before the lifeblood runs dry

Sounds like a good idea Wakey, we could just blame it on the administrator! But I thought if you made an employee redundant you couldn't replace them?

The sooner TBH goes the better. We've been telling him to F-off for a couple of years now, and he just wouldn't go. If it takes relegation to League 1 so be it - every cloud!

Video - Barnet 1-1 Pompey
