Pompey predictions league update #41

The Pompey predictions league continued in midweek with Millwall coming to Fratton.

From the elation of the draw at Scum we came back to earth with a bump with defeat against Millwall, which all but confirmed our relegation to league one.

In many ways, given the mental and physical toll that the Scum game took out of the players were many surprised that we lost 1-0 on Tuesday?

I cannot say that I was, it was a rollercoaster for us as fans, with the vast majority of the players 'caring' too, the game came too soon - had we had a week between I am sure we would have come back and won...

Very few picked up points, although maximum points were gained by PompeyFrippy and blueexile for going with a 1-0 defeat.

PompeyFrippy not only retained, but extended, his advantage at the top to retain this for a 41st game running on 146pts overall.

Frippy has won the game, lets face it, but there is still time to get involved and scoop yourself a prize, if nothing else the final predictor of the month one!

Remember anyone can enter at any time so just because you missed out on predicting for the last game Millwall it is not too late, simply joining for the next league against Doncaster away at the weekend and then Palace, when they come to Fratton, on the Tuesday to follow.
