Stoke in 1963 when Stanley Matthews made his final Fratton appearance at 48!! Then Huddersfield, Millwall, Palace, Scummers, Brighton, Preston and Brighton again. Reckon that makes eight and only one win.

Umm the least said about everything in 1976 the better. There for the 3 home games from 1985-1993. The 4-0 win over Peterborough included a saved penalty, their keeper Ian Bennett also saved one when we drew with them earlier in the season. That alone cost us promotion.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.

Interest in Plymouth midfielder? Unfortunately not

Apparently, having stolen the League Two title from Plymouth, we'll not be taking the Pilgrims' best player, ex-Celtic midfielder Carey, currently out-of-contract at Home Park.
