Before my time time but ouch 1939, losing 8-2 to Boro. And in contrast what a match beating Arsenal 5-4 in 1958. Back into my time, there for the draw in 1986 with the wombles. Quite sure we missed a penalty, costly miss, they went up & we just missed out, again. Also there for the wins over Bradford in 1997 & Wigan in 2008.

Charlton in 69, Bristol Rovers, Oxford, Wimbledon and Wigan. Back to Matt and 39 look at the tiny crowd just 6,116 but it was midweek and no floodlights in those days! We did go on to win the Cup though!

Movement of the people

There will be no exodus but as Bob Marley said there would be movement of the people, actually 'movement of Jah people', at Fratton in order for Jackett to bring players to Pompey.
