Firstly I know it is not nice to 'round on one player', and I do not like doing this - I have rarely done this (article format wise) in all my years of running this site, but enough is enough...
In my 'Reflecting on Coventry defeat' article on Sunday I said: 'the biggest positive is that we now know 100% that what we have now, player wise, is what we will have until the end of the season - no one else can be taken from us!
So any minds that might have been wondering need to fully focus on the task in hand and put summer time thoughts to be on hold until then.'
I retract that slightly...
There is one player that I really wish, as most of us have for so long, could be taken from us though, unfortunately as ever he remained!
Although he has had some positive moments this season, that I cannot deny, any lingering doubts I had about Tal Ben-Haim, and what his commitment levels to PFC actually were, were confirmed on Saturday.
Commitment to money is all he has, we all knew that but without a shadow of a doubt this was no two ways about it affirmed beyond a doubt...
He had a poor game, looked distinctly disinterested - I suspect someone was hoping a loan move could come about, then again he still gets his money so I guess he is happy! - and could not get down the tunnel quick enough at full time, no reaction to anyone or anything, not even a halfhearted applause towards the fans was given whatsoever.
Let him rot Appy!
**** him, high wages or not - a need for him to in someway, shape or form justify them - get him out of the team, and the match day squads, like you have Dave Kitson.
One of the new lads from Man City can play left back I believe, lets put him in and use him?
Failing that use a youngster or if one of the trialists is able to be purchased get them in and play them at left back, you never know they might even be able to use their left foot...

perhaps i have been alittle unfair to him and struck when the emotion was still quite high - like i said he has had some good moments this season, a fair few of them, but he needs to go. as said, and as pointed out, perhaps his wages influence my thinking of him over others at times...
