'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We dropped Kitson so why not TBH?

Firstly I know it is not nice to 'round on one player', and I do not like doing this - I have rarely done this (article format wise) in all my years of running this site, but enough is enough...

In my 'Reflecting on Coventry defeat' article on Sunday I said: 'the biggest positive is that we now know 100% that what we have now, player wise, is what we will have until the end of the season - no one else can be taken from us!

So any minds that might have been wondering need to fully focus on the task in hand and put summer time thoughts to be on hold until then.'

I retract that slightly...

There is one player that I really wish, as most of us have for so long, could be taken from us though, unfortunately as ever he remained!

Although he has had some positive moments this season, that I cannot deny, any lingering doubts I had about Tal Ben-Haim, and what his commitment levels to PFC actually were, were confirmed on Saturday.

Commitment to money is all he has, we all knew that but without a shadow of a doubt this was no two ways about it affirmed beyond a doubt...

He had a poor game, looked distinctly disinterested - I suspect someone was hoping a loan move could come about, then again he still gets his money so I guess he is happy! - and could not get down the tunnel quick enough at full time, no reaction to anyone or anything, not even a halfhearted applause towards the fans was given whatsoever.

Let him rot Appy!

**** him, high wages or not - a need for him to in someway, shape or form justify them - get him out of the team, and the match day squads, like you have Dave Kitson.

One of the new lads from Man City can play left back I believe, lets put him in and use him?

Failing that use a youngster or if one of the trialists is able to be purchased get them in and play them at left back, you never know they might even be able to use their left foot...

Sorry Rug have to disagree with you there! Didn't go to Coventry so have to take your word on his performance, but i have been at every game at the Park and TBH had a corking game on Tuesday, and I thought he played well on Saturday before. He does have his up's and down days but we seem to have a squad that has up and down days! Joel had a bit of a nightmare game a week ago but then played a blinder on Tuesday! I think Kitson is the only player we need to ship out at the moment. Sorry for disagreeing! It would be a boring world if we all thought the same!

Agree with MadPhil. TBH doesn't applaud the fans but his commitment is second to none. If anyone needs a rocket or a bench seat it's Varney. Had his head turned and a joke, stood and watched instead of getting stuck in, and made dreadfull passes all game

I'm with MadPhil too. I think he is a good player who has played well for us this season. It's not his fault he was offered a decent wage by the idiots in charge at the time. I think far too many fans hold his wage against him personally.

Think you are being a little unfair to TBH. I was at Coventry and there was no one who came away with any credit. In my opinion Appy needs to have a word with Allen, he's not a bad player but tends to hold on to the ball too much or carry it just one tackle to far.

fair play, you may well be right that his huge wages are held against him - very few came over to the fans but most acknowledged us but not him, whistle went and he was down the tunnel without a second thought. tbf i have not noticed this before, so maybe it was a one off as he was 'frustrated', i do not know?
perhaps i have been alittle unfair to him and struck when the emotion was still quite high - like i said he has had some good moments this season, a fair few of them, but he needs to go. as said, and as pointed out, perhaps his wages influence my thinking of him over others at times...
