Mandaric For Manager - Shock Result!

In our poll, we asked who you wanted to see as our new manager. Now that Neil Warnock, who got 19% of the votes, has ruled himself out, we have decided to pose the same question for the weekend. We've also added new front runner Harry Rednapp who Mandaric has said will be the next manager to be approached and Alex McLeish who is another favoured option by the chairman.

In the last poll, we also put Mandaric as an option for manager, this was tongue in cheek, but he won hands down with 42%. I guess the one benefit if he did the job would be his reticence to sack himself!

Third favourite was Roy Keane with 16%, George Burley came next with 15%, then 2% for John Gregory and 6% for 'another' option.

Alex McLeish would be great at Portsmouth, he's quite under appreciated at Rangers (who have had a string of unfortunate injurys leading to poor form). A manager who can get into Europe, and with an EPL budget could take a deam under his direction to great places. A clear winner with the right attitude.
