Pearce going nowhere! One or two to arrive?

With 5pm, the loan window deadline, inching ever closer the likelihood of Jason Pearce staying with Pompey has grown.

Pearce himself was quoted in The News today as saying he was going nowhere and with time running out it is becoming more and more likely that our captain - along with others - will be staying at Fratton, well until the summer at least!

That said with Pompey we know that anything is possible so a late twist and turn could come about?

Positively it is 'reported' that Pompey could actually still do business before 5pm but this business could be to bring in a couple of players on loan...

Heard that elsewhere, so could be true. What do we know about him?
